Cayman Athletes to Make Historic First Appearance at Pan Am Youth Championships
For the first time ever, our nation will be represented at the XXXIV Pan American Youth, Cadets, U14, and U12 Table Tennis Championships, to be held from August 25–31, 2025 in Asunción, Paraguay.
Our national delegation includes three talented and hardworking youth athletes — Lucas Jackson, Matthew Power, and Michael Webster — who have emerged as top contenders in the region through the development efforts of the Cayman Islands National Karate & Athletics Association (CINKA).
This marks a major advancement for youth sports in the Cayman Islands, as CINKA continues to create opportunities for young athletes to compete on the world stage and gain invaluable international experience.
We would like to extend special thanks to Campbells LLP and Cayman Airways, whose support has been instrumental in enabling our athletes to attend this event. Their commitment to community and youth development continues to make a meaningful difference.
