Cayman Islands Flags Flown at Half-Mast in Honor of former Governor, Mr Michael Edward John Gore, CVO, CBE
In honor of the life of former Cayman Islands Governor, Mr Michael Edward John Gore, CVO, CBE, the Cayman Islands flag and Union flag are flying half-mast throughout today, Friday 08 July 2022, and again on the day of or Friday before the funeral (if that day falls on a weekend).
Mr Gore passed away last night, Thursday 07 July 2022. He was Governor of the Cayman Islands from 1992 to 1995.
Information on the Official Funeral for Mr Gore is to be announced.
