CAYMANIAN TIMES WEEKEND TREAT ON BOBO 89.1FM

Saturday mornings will never be the same again.

Caymanian Times announces the latest move in expanding its media output with the addition of a full Saturday morning schedule on BOBO 89.1FM.

Launching on Saturday June 4th is "Saturday with Caymanian Times"

This is a full four-hour session from 8am to 12 noon every Saturday featuring the best in music to get your weekend started, engaging Cayman Conversations, plus an entire hour of exclusively Caymanian music.

This new production is the brainchild and initiative of Caymanian Times founder and publisher, Ralph Lewis - also known for his skills as a DJ.

“I am truly excited to be hosting this new show,” Ralph says. “My 40 years as a local entertainer, my radio and television experience from a young age, my 9-year publishing experience and 42 years as a business leader have led to this place in my life. I thank my family and many supporters who have played important roles as we prepare for a new phase in media in the Cayman Islands.”

According to the former banker turned media entrepreneur, the strategic goal of the Caymanian Times is a media platform that includes print, social media and radio.

“We embarked on the radio arm a few weeks ago and after spending time to test the pulse of the community have created a 4-hour programme on Saturday mornings that will both entertain and inform our community. Our goal is to reach a wide demographic of Cayman residents and overseas and we encourage everyone to tune in on Saturday for a new media experience.”

Starting June 4th, listeners can tune in to BOB 89.1FM and log on to Facebook and YouTube for a packed and engaging format featuring updates on community events, the best of classic Caribbean hits to get the weekend started, and our Cayman Conversations series.

A stand-out feature will be one hour dedicated exclusively to the music of the Cayman Islands. This will highlight music produced in Cayman across all genres and interviews with our very own music stars and legends.

Our goal is to reach a wide demographic of Cayman Residents and we encourage everyone to tune in on Saturday for a new media experience.

So tune in, log on and get ready for a fresh, bright sound of Saturday mornings in Cayman with Caymanian Times via BOBO 89.1fm, and uploaded to Caymanian Times Facebook page and YouTube channel.
