The Honorary Consul to Barbados in the Cayman Islands is currently working on organizing a charter flight to and from Barbados with travel from Grand Cayman on 16th October and final leg back to Cayman on 25th October.

The Charter would take persons from and back to Grand Cayman or bring persons who start their leg of the journey in Barbados, to the Cayman Islands. Travellers should familiarize themselves with all the Covid-19 protocols before making travel arrangements.

TENTATIVE TRAVEL DATES (Date / Flight Details):

• October 16th – Grand Cayman to Barbados

• October 16th – Barbados to Grand Cayman

• October 25th – Grand Cayman to Barbados

• October 25th – Barbados to Grand Cayman

The Cayman Islands is considered a very low risk category and persons travelling from Grand Cayman to Barbados who have not travelled to or transited through any country designated as high, medium or low risk within 21 days prior to travel to Barbados, are not required to take a covid-119 test prior to or on arrival. For protocols on entry to Barbados, please visit www.visitbarbados.org/covid-19-travel-guidelines-2020. That said, travellers are strongly advised to take a Covid-19 PCR test at least 5 days before arriving in Barbados as that would expedite transfers through Immigration.

To receive further information and express your interest in such a charter, email the Barbados Consulate Office at Barbcon2@gmail.com
