CIIPA honours excellence at 17th Annual Awards Gala

The Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) celebrated the achievements of 32 honourees at the 17th Annual CIIPA Awards Gala on Saturday, 27 September, recognising new graduates and recently qualified professionals across the profession’s key pathways. The evening also featured the presentation of CIIPA’s three special awards to individuals who exemplify excellence and service to the community and the profession.

“Each year, this gala reminds us that the strength of our profession is our people — curious, ethical and committed to the public interest,” said CIIPA President Rosa Nolan. “To our honourees and award recipients: congratulations. Your achievements reflect perseverance and purpose, and they raise the bar for all of us.”

“CIIPA’s mandate is to support a profession the Cayman Islands can rely on—through education, regulation and community engagement,” said CIIPA Chief Executive Officer Sheree Ebanks.

“We’re proud to celebrate emerging talent and seasoned leaders alike, and we look forward to the impact they will continue to make in firms, businesses and our wider community.”

EY’s Rohan Small was presented with the 2025 CIIPA Pioneer Award, while Berman & Fisher’s Michelle Fisher received the 2025 CIIPA Outstanding Member Award and KPMG’s Joshua Bain the Rising Star Award. In addition, 12 honourees were recognised for recently obtaining their respective professional desingations, while three others were recgonised for earning master’s degrees and 17 for bachelor’s degrees.
