Clifton Hunter High School Recognises the Class of 2025 for Outstanding Achievement

The Clifton Hunter High School community gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2025 under the inspiring theme “Roots, Wings, and Horizons – Honouring Our Past, Owning Our Present, and Soaring Towards Tomorrow.”

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Honourable Rolston Anglin, J.P., M.P., Minister for Finance and Economic Development, Education and Training, who delivered words of encouragement to the graduates. Also in attendance were senior leaders from the Ministry of Education and Training and Department of Education Services, parents, and well-wishers.

In his address, Minister Anglin commended the graduates for their perseverance and urged them to chart their own paths with determination.

“Each of your journeys has been unique,” he shared. “As you move toward your horizons and chase your dreams, remember that the script that brought you here must remain personal and purposeful. Guard your values, stay rooted, and run toward your goals without fear.”

Principal Dr. Buchanan praised the Class of 2025 for exemplifying Clifton Hunter High School’s enduring spirit of excellence.

“Though excellence is pursued across all our schools, and we celebrate the collective achievements of our national education system, the results we share tonight affirm that Clifton Hunter High School continues to lead with quiet strength and unwavering purpose. In the rich tapestry of Cayman’s educational landscape, we remain a guiding light — steadfast in our commitment to nurturing deep roots, empowering bold wings, and expanding the horizons of every student who walks through our doors.”

The evening’s keynote speaker, Dr. Brianna Bodden, a Clifton Hunter alumna and newly matriculated medical doctor, delivered a heartfelt and motivational address encouraging graduates to honour their foundations, embrace self-awareness, and pursue their futures with courage.

“Your roots keep you grounded, your wings reflect your growth, and your horizons are waiting to be explored,” she shared. “Whatever lies ahead, face it with gratitude, confidence, and purpose.”

The evening also featured the presentation of several awards recognising excellence in academics, leadership, character, and service. Among the top honours, Chloe Reid was named Student of the Year for her outstanding academic performance, leadership, and community involvement. Maria Robinson received the Award for Academic Excellence for her exceptional results and commitment to the highest standards, while Kristina O’Connor earned the Deputy Governor’s Achievement Award for exemplary citizenship, leadership, and dedication to Caymanian values. These accolades capped an evening celebrating not only the academic success of the Class of 2025, but also their resilience, service, and the steadfast support of parents, teachers, and the wider Clifton Hunter High School community.In a night filled with pride and reflection, the Class of 2025 was celebrated not only for their academic achievements but also for their resilience and spirit — embodying the Clifton Hunter High School motto, “Nothing but the Best.”
