Shortly before 11:30AM on Friday, 8th May, officers responded to a report of a traffic collision at the intersection of Hirst Road and the East West Arterial involving a Jeep and a bicycle. The bicycle had been travelling along the East West Arterial and the Jeep had been travelling north along Hirst Road, when they collided.
Emergency services attended the location and the cyclist was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep was uninjured.
The matter is currently under investigation.
