Caymanian Times dedicated delivery person, Alan Ebanks

The Caymanian Times, Cayman’s daily newspaper, may have reduced publication dates to three days a week from our usual five, but we are still working hard to ensure that our newspapers reach our readers, even if it means that we have to deliver right to their door.

On a regular basis we distribute a free copy of the Caymanian Times to 150 homes in East End thanks to our dedicated delivery person, Alan Ebanks, who always ensures that the news is delivered with a smile to his community.

The Caymanian Times now wishes to expand that increasingly popular delivery service to other districts in Grand Cayman. So, if you are physically able and want to earn CI$300 per month, we would love you to get in touch. We are looking for delivery people to distribute the newspaper on our days of publication (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) to readers in North Side, West Bay and Bodden Town. If you are interested in a distribution role or wish to have a copy delivered to your home for a small fee, please drop us a line or give us a call at 9162000 and we will add you to our distribution list.

Thankfully, Cayman appears to be gradually moving towards a loosening of lockdown restrictions as the incidence of the Covid-19 corona virus seem to be slowing down quickly in our jurisdiction.

You may still pick up our newspapers at some of the regular spots where you would found the Caymanian Times in the past: banks, supermarkets, gas stations and pharmacies. With the easing of restrictions, more locations will be added to our distribution route.

We know that accessing up-to-date news has become even more important to our readers during this time of crisis and we are proud to be able to serve our readers by keeping our print edition consistent and available. We especially want to ensure that news reaches the elderly and the permanently housebound. We also know that the Word Search, Sudoku puzzles and comic strips bring a lot of pleasure to our readers, something that only a print newspaper can offer.
