COVID-19 Clinic expands hours for PCR & LFT testing

With new travel requirements announced the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Health Services Authority’s COVID-19 Testing Clinic will increase its hours of operations to expedite the processing of COVID-19 test results for international travelers.

Starting Sunday December 5, 2021, the COVID-19 Testing Clinic at the Cayman Islands Hospital will increase its hours of operation to 7 days a week.

 

COVID-19 Testing Clinic Hours (Grand Cayman)

• Monday – Friday 7:30am – 12pm

• Saturday 10am – 12pm

• Sunday 10am – 2pm

Walk-ins are accepted for both Certified Lateral Flow tests (LFTs) and PCR. PCR appointments are encouraged and can be made online at https://www.hsa.ky/appointment/. Certified Lateral Flow tests are CI$25 per test and results are emailed in approximately one hour. PCR tests are resulted in approximately 4 hours for travellers. The Clinic is located to the left of A&E, parking is available in the Seventh Day Adventist Church parking lot.

• Lateral Flow Testing Monday - Friday 9am-1pm, 2pm-3pm

• PCR testing Monday – Friday 9am-12pm

As of Monday December 6, 2021, the United States now requires that all arriving passengers, 2 years or older, must have a negative COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) no more than 1 day before boarding a flight to the United States.
