East End Public Library Launches Volunteer Reading Coaches Programme to Empower Students’ Literacy Skills

The East End Public Library (EEPL) announces the launch of its Volunteer Reading Coaches Programme, an initiative to support students who need to enhance their reading and overall literacy skills. 

The EEPL is seeking dedicated volunteers to participate in this endeavour. 

Programme Details:

• Duration: 19 September-1 December and 9 January-31 March 2024

• Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:40 p.m., with optional Saturdays.

• Location: East End Public Library, 2739 Sea View Rd, East End.

Branch Manager Ms. Sandra Ebanks makes this special appeal to the public, “Let’s join forces to help students in our community develop the necessary literacy skills to unlock their full potential.”
