Shortly after 1:00AM on Monday, 30 December, officers responded to a report of a serious single-vehicle collision on the East West Arterial, at the intersection with Doubletree Lane.
A Nissan Skyline was travelling westbound when it left the roadway, collided with a utility pole, and came to rest on its side. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a man age 26 of Bodden Town, was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.
The matter is currently under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or have any information, is asked to contact the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254 or any traffic officer.
