Coldwell Banker couldn’t score in the second inning as Scotiabank’s pitcher, Zhanna, was in total command on the mound. Scotiabank tallied three more runs as Shay, Janey and Calissa crossed home for the second time in the game.

Coldwell Banker got the offense going in the third inning as Jialy, Kenia and Aydis scored their second runs of the game, with Martina Watler’s RBI triple down the left field line being the key hit.

Scotiabank bounced right back with three more runs as Rio Windsor, Aleigha General and Hanna Jackson scored. Coldwell Banker exploded for six runs in the top of the fourth to take a 13-11 lead. Diamond Chambers, Shanell Martinez, Jada Jennings, Jialy, Kenia and Aydis all scored, with Kenia’s inside-the-park grand slam being the big hit of the inning.

Undaunted, Scotiabank fought back with three runs to win the game. After Calissa had scored to make it 13-12, Rio hit a bloop single over second base to score Dena’e Alexander and Akeyla with the winning runs, sending the Scotiabank players, coaches and spectators into celebration mode!
