Madison Malice and Kenia Rostran both singled and scored in the bottom of the 1st to bring Kirk Freeport to within one run.
In the top of the 2nd Digicel got two runners on base but failed to score as Kirk Freeport made a couple of good defensive plays. In the bottom of the inning Kirk Freeport took an 8-3 lead with a six-run barrage. Nicole Kielczewski, Athena Edwards, Destini Rankin and Madison Malice all walked and scored. With two outs, Daniela Heard drove home a run with an RBI single, and Demae Lee followed with a 3RBI triple to the fence in centre. Daniela and Demae scored the final runs of the inning.

Coldwell Banker 11, Logic 10
The Saturday evening game saw Coldwell Banker rally from an early 8-0 deficit and a late 10-6 deficit to defeat Logic, in an 11-10 nailbiter.
Logic got four runs in the 1st and another four in the 2nd to build an 8-0 lead. They took advantage of several walks, a couple of errors, a dropped third out, and timely hits by McKenna Knapik and Withney Jackson. McKenna, Hanna Jackson, Withney, and Keirsten McLaughlin all scored in the 1st, and Hristina Nachev, McKenna, Hanna, and Lili Anne Aleria crossed the plate in the 2nd.
Coldwell Banker failed to score in the 1st, but they rallied back with six runs in the 2nd to make it 8-6. Raegan Jefferson led off with a double and she scored on a RBI single by Daniela Del Risco. Emily Ebanks and Ramiyah Ebanks followed with walks and Janey Veilleux reached on an error to load the bases. Maya Willis, Jialy Archbold-McLaughlin and Eowyn Hawkins all followed with RBI walks, with Maya scoring the final run of the frame on a fielder’s choice by Raegan.
Logic got two more runs in the 3rd as McKenna reached on a one out single and Hanna walked. With the bases loaded and two outs, WIthney and Keirsten drew walks to bring home McKenna and Hanna.
In the dramatic and decisive bottom of the 3rd, Daniela singled, and Jen Diaz and Emily walked to load the bases for Coldwell Banker. Maya was hit by a pitch after two were out, bringing home Daniela. Coldwell Banker was trailing 10-7 with the bases loaded, and power hitter Jialy smacked a solid double to left field, scoring all three runners to make it 10-10. Moments later Eowyn blasted a rocket down the left field line, scoring Jialy with the winning run.
Jialy made the defensive play of the game, fielding a grounder, twisting around, and firing a perfect throw home to force out the runner by a step. Logic’s McKenna was named player of the game for her three good catches, two hits, and three runs scored.
Each team was missing a couple of players, so all credit goes to those who were there to make it an entertaining contest.
Games take place on Thursdays and Saturdays at 6:45 pm on Field 1 at the Field of Dreams.
