Guyana excites as Caribbean Premier League picks up
The Caribbean Premier League is in full swing and the Guyana Amazon Warriors were the best team so far in the early matches.
The combined power of Khary Pierre, Imran Tahir and Shamar Joseph, who picked up seven wickets between them, was too much for Antigua and Barbuda Falcons to handle as they lost a one-sided CPL 2026 contest to Guyana Amazon Warriors by seven wickets on Sunday.
At the start of the week, Amazon Warriors had won all three games and were top of the points table, while Falcons, despite the battering in this game, were in third place, also on three wins but from six games. St Lucia Kings were between them in second place.
