Jalen Hurts starred again for the Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are back on track after a wobbly period thanks to the brilliance of star quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Their 18-game win streak in games that Hurts started and finished over the last two seasons looks set to continue after their decisive 38-20 win over the New York Giants on Sunday.
The Eagles lost two straight games without Hurts, but after defeating the Minnesota Vikings last week, the Eagles toppled the Giants.
While the Giants entered the game with one of the league’s worst defenses (29th in yards allowed), the Eagles had struggled offensively against them just two weeks ago.
On top of that, the Eagles were without star wide receiver AJ Brown on Sunday due to a hamstring injury. But that didn’t matter as the Eagles’ offense was deadly with Hurts completing 15 of 20 passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns against the Giants, with the Eagles putting up 427 yards of total offense.
