The Intergenerational Hub was the setting for a historic milestone as the Miss Teen Cayman Islands 2026/2027 contestants gathered for their official Orientation Meet and Greet.
The evening was marked by a significant homecoming for educational support in the Cayman Islands from Education and Training Minister Hon. Rolston Anglin.
Minister Anglin attended the event to personally restore the Ministry of Education’s 42-year relationship with the pageant and offer a commitment to its future.
In a moment that defined the Ministry’s commitment to youth empowerment, the Minister presented the scholarship to be awarded to the winner of the upcoming pageant, which is taking place on August 8th, 2026.
The scholarship ensures that the next Miss Teen Cayman Islands, a project of the Lions Club of Grand Cayman and the Leos Club, will have the financial resources to match her leadership potential.
During the presentation, Minister Anglin spoke of the importance of this long-standing partnership and the Ministry’s dedication to providing top-tier educational opportunities for the nation’s young ambassadors.
By bridging the gap between pageantry and academic excellence, this scholarship restoration ensures that the crown remains a powerful symbol of both grace and intellectual ambition.
