The 12th Annual MUZAIC Festival Weekend took place over the Hero’s Day Weekend from Friday, 24th to Sunday 26th January over Heroes Day Weekend.
The weekend-long festival was filled with several musical events including the DJ showcase at the Seven Mile, Public Beach.
Featured DJs on the evening included Dj Domuneek, Dj Martino, Silver Fox (Paul Akal), Pepper Rollaz, Dj Mix Master, DJ Dave, Chuck Taylor, Dj Carter and Dj Flex.
The Hero’s Salute segment of MUZAIC at the Havana Club, featured artists and performers such as J Nez, M-Lito and Big Harv (Winner of the ’16 Bars’ Rap Competition), who paid homage to those who contributed to the music industry in Cayman over the years.
Rounding out the line-up for Hero’s Salute at Havana Club was the 5th Division Band, featuring Topaz General and Andy Blake.
On Sunday, 26th January, the award presentation at the Harquail Theater honored recipients with awards ranging from International Success to the Icon Award.
The Hero’s Day LIVE MUZAIC Showcase in George Town on Monday 27th January, was a post-award ceremony in hero’s square, featuring live entertainment.
