New Cartier Boutique Comes to GT

What is being referred to as the premier Cartier store in the Caribbean had its official opening on Saturday, 30th November at the Bayshore Mall in George Town.

The new architectural concept of the store, which has been in plans for several years, is the first in the Caribbean, according to organizers.

“For this event, we brought one of a kind, high-end pieces of jewelry and most of the designs were inspired by the Caribbean, everything is meant to remind you of the Caribbean,” noted Cartier’s Latin American and Caribbean President Bruno Carraz.

Mr. Carraz added that Cartier’s partnership with Kirk Freeport spanned some 23 years.

“We are very happy to keep building on our story in the Cayman Islands,” he exclaimed.

Vice President of Kirk Freeport Chris Kirkconnell noted that the boutique was first class in every respect and something that had brought a great deal of pride to everyone involved.

The retail space includes dedicated men’s and women’s watch and jewelry salons, as well as a diamond salon, a lifestyle space and private VIP Salon.

The full range of Cartier creations – from signature jewelry collections including Love, Panthère de Cartier, Juste un Clouv, Santos and Trinity de Cartier - to iconic Cartier timepieces such as Santos de Cartier, Tank and Panthère are also available.

A variety of accessories, leather goods, fragrances and other creative collections under the Cartier umbrella are in-stock at the store.

Founded in 1847, Cartier is one of the most famous luxury brands in the world, dedicated to the design and manufacture of exclusive collections of fine jewelry, watches and prestigious accessories, distributed through almost 300 Cartier jewelry stores worldwide.

Kirk Freeport has been a premier retailer of duty-free jewelry, watches, fragrances, leather, accessories, crystal and china in the Cayman Islands since 1972.
