Bermuda is grappling with another spike in COVID-9 cases mainly linked to travellers.
The government was reported to be considering more restrictions in a bid to bring the situation under control.
Schools starting the new term have been instructed to restrict their schedule to remote learning until at least April 23rd.
Up to press time Bermuda had recorded 670 active cases, with 21 persons hospitalised, six in intensive care.
The latest upsurge pushed the territory's recorded cases since the pandemic started last year to just under 1,500 at 1,497.
