Parking Improvements Coming Soon at Owen Roberts International Airport

The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA), which operates the Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) on Grand Cayman and the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (CKIA) on Cayman Brac, is pleased to announce that major enhancements to the Long-Term Parking Lot at Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) are underway.

As part of the CIAA’s ongoing efforts to improve the travel experience, the Long-Term Parking Lot will undergo paving works in several phases. Phase I preparatory began this past weekend, with the closure of the back area of Long- Term Parking (Phase I on the map). No paving works will be done while vehicles are parked in the area indicated as phase I.

To facilitate these works, all vehicles currently parked in the furthermost section of the Long-Term Parking Lot must be removed as soon as possible. For those travellers who are currently parked in phase I and off-island, upon your return, simply let the Ground Transportation Team or one of our Security Officers know and they will assist you.

During this period, overflow Long-Term parking will be available in the Short-Term Parking Lot, and travellers are encouraged to utilise the curbside drop-off zone whenever possible to reduce congestion. The CIAA apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely thanks the travelling public for their patience, support and understanding as we continue to enhance our airport facilities.
