PeerIslands Named 2021 MongoDB Boutique System Integrator Partner of the Year

PeerIslands, a TechCayman Sponsored Enterprise technology services firm, focused on helping enterprise customers accelerate development and deployment of cloud-based applications and solutions, has been named “Boutique System Integrator Partner of the Year,” by MongoDB, a leading modern general-purpose database platform. The award recognizes PeerIsland’s expertise in ecommerce and inventory management modernization, which helped ISV and retail customers modernize and move software built for on-prem to SaaS environments.

CEO of PeerIslands, Mr. Narayn Sridharan said of the award, “We are honored by the recognition from MongoDB, which I believe, is a direct testament to the quality of the world-class talent that makes up our team. We look forward to continuing building and strengthening the team in the Cayman Islands, with just as much focus on distinguishing talent, as always.”

PeerIslands is among a small handful of companies recognized for their work as MongoDB partners, including Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud and AWS. MongoDB has more than 1000 strategic IT partners and annually recognizes a handful of strategic partners that went above and beyond highly as Partners of the Year.

Senior Vice President, Worldwide Partners at MongoDB, Alan Chhabra said, “We are pleased to recognize PeerIslands as one of our strategic alliances of 2021. We partnered with PeerIslands to help customers, especially ISVs and Retailers, modernize mission critical applications as they migrate to cloud. We look forward to another great year ahead.

Chairman of TechCayman, Mr. Gene Thompson added, “This award is a huge accomplishment for the team at PeerIslands, as very few startup companies are able to achieve such a recognition of excellence in such a short period of time. For MongoDB to recognize PeerIslands as a top strategic partner in such a significant way, it illustrates how bringing world class tech talent to the Cayman Islands can act as a beacon for other tech companies looking at the jurisdiction.” Mr. Thompson added, “We know that by bringing this exceptional talent to the Island, new opportunities for Caymanians are being created. Facilitating mentorships and internships is an integral part of the TechCayman model and vision. Our ongoing school presentations, career fairs and in-house immersive Robotics camps will help to position our young people for these mentorships and internships opportunities, especially within our Sponsored Enterprise network.”
