Planned Works – Partial Closure of Peninsula Avenue

Water Authority-Cayman wishes to advise its valuable customers and the motoring public of the closure of Peninsula Avenue, between Cook Quay and Lime Tree Bay, to facilitate the installation of new wastewater infrastructure. Work will commence on Monday 15 March 2021 and last for approximately one week.

During the construction period road users must use the roundabout immediately east of the Seven Mile Public Beach to access or exit Peninsula Way from the Esterley Tibbetts Highway. The access from the Esterley Tibbetts Highway to Lime Tree Bay will remain open throughout this period.

Traffic signs will be posted in the area. Motorists are asked to drive with caution to ensure their own safety, as well as the safety of Water Authority and its contractor’s staff.

The Water Authority apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause, and thanks the public for their patience and understanding as it upgrades its wastewater infrastructure to better serve you.
