Police Investigate Robbery in North Side

Shortly before 11:00PM on Sunday, 24 August, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a robbery which was said to have occurred at about 9:00PM the same night at Rum Point beach. It was reported that a man was at the location when he was approached by three men who assaulted him and robbed him of an item of jewellery. The man did not receive any serious injuries during the incident.

One of the suspects is described as being of dark complexion with dreads that reached to his jaw line. A second suspect is described as being of light complexion and was wearing black shorts.

The matter is currently under investigation by Bodden Town CID and anyone with any information is asked to contact 947-2220.
