Police Investigate Robbery in West Bay
Shortly after 5:10PM on Thursday, 24 October, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a barber shop in the vicinity of Mount Pleasant Road and Batabano Road in West Bay. It was reported that a masked man entered the shop brandishing machete, and took a bag containing personal items and cash from a person at the location. The man then fled to the rear of the store, meeting another masked man outside. Both men left the location in a light-coloured Honda Fit. No one was injured during the incident.
The matter is currently under investigation by West Bay CID, and anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have any other information, is asked to contact 949-3999.
