Port Authority urges Cargo Clearance / Collection & Securing of Vessels

1. Port Authority Urges Cargo Clearance and Collection

With severe weather systems forecast to potentially impact the Cayman Islands this weekend and early next week the Port Authority is asking importers with cargo already here or with cargo on the way, to clear it with Customs and collect it as soon as possible. Those customers who have received an online ID from PACI, can see when their cargo is available.

2. Port Authority Encourages Boat Owners to Secure Vessels

The Port Authority urges persons with vessels moored in George Town Harbour or along Seven Mile Beach, to monitor both severe weather systems which may potentially impact the Islands this weekend. Boatowners should secure their vessels and seek the appropriate safe harbour or shelter by this weekend.
