Marko Rando held his nerve in Florida Justin Hastings was consistent in his tournament
Teen golfer Marko Rando had a great tournament at the Florida Junior Tour’s Sandridge Open in Vero Beach last week.
Rando posted rounds of 76–73 to finish T14 in a strong FJT field. The FJT attracts Florida’s top junior golfers, and the 13–15 boys competed from nearly 6,830 yards on a course rated 72.9/138 — a great test against quality competition.
Rando finished particularly strong, playing his final nine holes at even par to close out an impressive weekend.
Another consistent display came from Justin Hastings at the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron, finishing the week at 12-under par. He carded 68 for all four rounds.
On the Korn Ferry Tour — where fields are deep, scores are low and every shot is crucial — producing four consecutive rounds in the 60s is no small accomplishment.
With the regular season now behind him, Justin turns his attention to the four-event Korn Ferry Tour Finals, where he can really make his mark.
