RCIPS Responds to Report of Illegal Dumping, Issues Reminder to Public
The RCIPS is currently investigating a report of illegal dumping in the Newlands area by an individual driving a white Nissan pickup truck. The person responsible will be prosecuted for illegal dumping, in conjunction with the Department of Environmental Health.
The public is advised to refrain from illegal dumping. Persons found to be engaging in such activity will be prosecuted, and are liable to a fine of $500 and six months imprisonment, according to the Cayman Islands Litter Act.
