RCIPS weekend policing activities finds Ganja in a vehicle
As part of our strategic and operational response to the recent spike in robbery incidents police conducted several operations and vehicle checkpoints between Friday 21 July, and Sunday 23 July.
During one operation, which occurred in the area of McField Square, George Town a vehicle was recovered after a search revealed several packages of ganja being stored within the vehicle.
Several high visibility patrols, vehicle checkpoints and other police activities aimed at disrupting crime were carried out in areas, where, after analytical review, were believed to be areas with a high likelihood of being targeted by criminal activities and anti-social behaviour.
