Six of Cayman’s Leading Chefs Unite for One-Night Culinary Collaboration

Chef’s Jam at The Brasserie celebrates the talent, creativity and collaborative spirit behind Cayman’s thriving culinary scene

Six of the Cayman Islands’ most respected culinary talents will come together on 19 June for Chef’s Jam, a one-night collaborative dining experience celebrating the people, partnerships and creativity that continue to shape Cayman as one of the Caribbean’s leading culinary destinations.

Hosted at The Brasserie, the evening will bring together Chef Dean Max and Chef Artemio “Arte” Lopez of The Brasserie alongside guest chefs Davide Sannia of Agua, Ervin Horvath of Agave Urban Agaveria, Thomas Tennant of Chef On Call and restaurateur, television host and writer Dylan Benoit.

Guests will enjoy welcome drinks and canapés in The Brasserie’s garden before sitting down to a five-course dinner, with each course showcasing the distinct style, influences and culinary perspective of a different participating chef.

While collaborative chef dinners have become increasingly popular in major culinary destinations around the world, opportunities for chefs from multiple restaurants and backgrounds to cook together remain relatively uncommon. Chef’s Jam offers a unique opportunity to experience six culinary voices in a single evening while celebrating the relationships and shared passion that underpin Cayman’s food community.

“The Cayman Islands has earned a reputation as one of the Caribbean’s premier culinary destinations,” said Dean Max, founder of The Brasserie. “Chef’s Jam is an opportunity to celebrate not only exceptional food, but also the talented chefs, producers and hospitality professionals who continue to elevate Cayman’s dining scene.”

Collectively, the participating chefs represent decades of culinary experience spanning North America, Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean. Their backgrounds reflect the diversity of influences that have helped define Cayman’s contemporary culinary landscape, from farm-to-table dining and sustainable seafood to Mediterranean and regional Mexican cuisine.

More than a showcase of individual talent, Chef’s Jam highlights the spirit of collaboration that has contributed to Cayman’s emergence as a recognised culinary destination and celebrates the connections between chefs, restaurants, farmers, fishermen and producers across the islands.

Chef’s Jam will take place on Friday, 19 June 2026, from 6:30pm at The Brasserie.
