The Honourable Prime Minister Phillip J Pierre.

Prime Minister’s Office

Castries, Saint Lucia.

Dear Prime Minister,

As the Speaker of the House of Parliament of the Cayman Islands and on behalf of the Representatives, I have taken the liberty and privilege to extend congratulations to you for your victory at the last general elections.

Undoubtedly, it appears to be a clear and convincing mandate from the people based on the election results. This is evidenced by having won thirteen (13) seats of the seventeen (17) which is the largest margin since 1997 in the Saint Lucian Parliament.

This has been a significant change and the people of Saint Lucia have obviously entrusted you to set their legislative regime and policies to govern the Island.

As an independent state and a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, it is clear that the St Lucians have demonstrated great confidence in your leadership and vision.

Being a member of the Caribbean region, we wish you and the peoples of Saint Lucia continued success, prosperity and growth during your tenure as Prime Minister.

Speaker of Parliament

Hon. Dr. W. McKeeva Bush,

OBE, JP, Hon. MSc, MP
