STEPPINGSTONES ANNOUNCES CHARITABLE PARTNER 2023

SteppingStones announces Meals on Wheels (MOW) as their charitable partner for 2023 providing funding, volunteer support and pro bono work to help the charity meet their goal of building a new Meals on Wheels Centre.

SteppingStones has a long-standing commitment to supporting the Cayman Islands community and are dedicated to helping build a better future for Caymanians and Residents through charitable donations, volunteerism and pro bono work.

This is the first year SteppingStones has announced a charitable partnership whereby a lump sum of revenue is set aside to assist a local charity achieve their goals and objectives throughout the year. A campaign was launched in September inviting all local charities to apply. Over 12 applications were received, and shortlisted nonprofits invited to present to the SteppingStones team. 

“SteppingStones are delighted to confirm our charitable partner for 2023 is Meals on Wheels. Having volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years, it is a not-for-profit extremely close to our hearts, and we are beyond excited to work alongside Jennifer West, the Board and all volunteers, to help enhance and promote the incredible work that goes on behind the scenes in the ongoing effort to ensure the seniors of the Cayman Islands are fed and cared for.” said Rosie Scott, SteppingStones, Recruitment Manager. 

“Meals on Wheels is extremely grateful to have been selected as the 2023 SteppingStones Charitable Partner. The funds will be a key cornerstone in the growth of our essential and growing service to the community as we aim to build a brand new Meals on Wheels Centre. The partnership  goes beyond funds, SteppingStones will provide volunteer support that will enable us to better share with the community the work we do to serve hundreds of seniors in need across our community and with the additional opportunities and events, we hope that by the end of 2023 we will be able to eliminate our current waiting list and be closer to reaching our mission of ending senior hunger in the Cayman Islands by serving all seniors in need of a hot meal and warm smile.” said Jennifer West, Meals on Wheels General Manager.
