Ten Migrants Repatriated to Cuba

The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) repatriated four (4) migrants to the Republic of Cuba on Thursday, 9  November 2023 and six (6) on Thursday, 26 October 2023.  In total the ten (10) male migrants were accompanied by Customs & Border Control Officers on two (2) separate non-chartered Cayman Airways flights which departed Grand Cayman for Havana, Cuba at approximately 6.50pm. Director for Customs & Border Control, Charles Clifford said “Thank you to the CBC Officers and the CBC Migration Management team who continues to process migrants and organize the repatriation flights.” Both repatriation flights went without incident.
