Their admission follows the successful completion of the firm’s Articles of Clerkship programme, a key part of the Walkers Cayman Legal Training programme, which is designed to equip aspiring legal professionals with the technical knowledge and practical experience needed to build their careers.
Peter Kendall, partner and chair of the firm’s Cayman Islands Trainee Committee, shared:
‘Emily and Lacee have shown excellent dedication and professionalism throughout their training. We are very proud to see them admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar and look forward to their continued growth and contributions to the firm.’
Emily Boyd said: ‘Completing my articles at Walkers has been a fantastic experience, and I’m pleased to continue my career with the firm.’
Lacee Riley added: ‘I’m grateful for the support I received throughout the programme and excited to begin this next chapter with the team.’
The Walkers Cayman Legal Training programme remains a cornerstone of the firm’s commitment to developing legal talent in the jurisdiction, offering a clear path from trainee to qualified attorney.
