Water-Related Death
Shortly after 9:30AM on Tuesday, 11 February, officers responded to a report of a person in distress at the West Bay Dock. A woman had been out diving when she encountered difficulties, lost consciousness, and was brought back to shore. Emergency services attended the scene and she was transported to the hospital via ambulance where she was subsequently pronounced dead.
The woman was a 65-year-old visitor from the US.
