WORC offering extended hours to assist in job registration

Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman is offering extended hours to assist Caymanian and permanent resident job seekers in registering on the JobsCayman portal. Registration is important as it allows a job seeker to see the hundreds of jobs available on the portal. Caymanians and permanent residents who worked in the tourism industry before the COVID-19 pandemic are being asked to register on the portal and complete the required documentation.

Jobs seekers are asked to bring with them a Government issued ID such as a Passport, Voter’s Card or Driver’s License. Also, additional documentation such as 1) Information Form; 2) Job Seeker Bio Form and 3) Release of Information Form will need to be submitted to complete the registration process. Links to these forms can be found in the box marked Tourism Job Seekers located on the home page of www.worc.ky

The registration extended hours start from this evening 11 August from 5:00pm until 8:00pm for last names A thru K and Thursday, 12 August from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for last names L thru Z at the WORC offices at Apollo House West located at 87 Mart Street in George Town.

Registration assistance is also available on Friday, 13 August at the Bodden Town Public Library from 10:00am to 1:00pm and again Saturday, 14 August at #9 Forum Lane at Camana Bay from 9:00am to 3:00pm. On Friday and Saturday, registration is open for last names A thru Z.

All required documents and dates of the extended hours can be found on www.worc.ky or for more information email WORC@gov.ky or call 945-9672 or toll free 1-(800) 534 9672.
