Wounding Incident in George Town
Shortly after 10:30PM yesterday, 16 June, officers responded to a report of a serious assault at an address on Patrick's Avenue, George Town. It was reported that a man and a woman known to each other had been involved in an altercation, during which the man was wounded in the neck with an object. The man was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by a third party. He remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
Officers attended the hospital and subsequently arrested the suspect in the incident, a woman age 34 of George Town, on suspicion of wounding. She remains in custody as investigations continue.
