Updated Regulations for All Travellers Into the Cayman Islands

Updates to regulations impacting travel were announced over the weekend. These changes to regulations will reduce the COVID-19 testing window for all passengers travelling into the Cayman Islands as well as unvaccinated persons travelling to the Sister Islands from Grand Cayman.

47 Positive COVID 19 cases reported on Tuesday

At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, 14 December Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Lee reported that 1029 PCR tests had been conducted since 8 a.m. on Monday, 13 December. The Public Health Department reported 47 positive results from these tests, two in travellers and 45 from the community.
