On Tuesday afternoon, 1 September, officers in Cayman Brac had cause to conduct a search at an address off Bight Road, under the Misuse of Drugs Law. During the search, officers recovered several containers and packages of suspected ganja.
Just after 11:15AM on Monday 31 August, the Firearm Response Unit was travelling along West bay Road in the vicinity of Marsh Road, West Bay, when they received an emergency call to attend a report at an establishment located at Governor’s Square.
Concerns from the community regarding drug activity and other anti-social behaviour has lead the RCIPS to organize a joint operation in the Kaibo and Rum Point area of North Side, which took place on Sunday 30 August.
Just after 3:30AM today, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a stabbing incident that took place at the at a night club located at the Strand on Canal Point Road.
Early Thursday, 20 August, officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Sea View Road, East End, in the High Rock area. The collision occurred shortly after 1:00PM.
On Thursday, 20 August, police had cause to execute searches at two addresses in the District of West Bay, one of the searches resulted in the recovery of drugs and other contraband which lead to one arrest being made.
The RCIPS Community Policing Unit delivered the first Crime Prevention Workshop for 2020 to Security Officers at National Security Services Limited last week. The workshop spanned five days and was facilitated by Sergeant Cornelius Pompey and Constable Christopher Donaldson.

Just before for 9:45PM on Friday 7 August, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a Mini Mart located along Rev Blackman Drive in West Bay. It was reported that a man attended the location seeking assistance for a serious laceration to one of his hands.
