Officer Assaulted During Call for Service

On Thursday 30 March, police responded to West Bay Road, where it was report that two businesses located in the same plaza were burgled. Both businesses received structural damage and at a quantity of cash was stolen from one of the affected businesses.

Just after 2:35 AM on Saturday morning, 20 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a single-vehicle collision that took place along Seaview Road, East End, in the vicinity of the blowholes.
One occupant of the vehicle was recovered by officers from the Cayman Islands Fire Service and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.
