On Thursday, 12 March, officers from the RCIPS Air Operations Unit and the Joint Marine Unit, were conducting a joint pro-active patrol when the AOU observed a Jamaican style canoe with three persons onboard, about 30-40 miles from Grand Cayman.
Just before 3AM today, Sunday 15 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report in Splendid View boulevard, North Side. It was reported that a man was stabbed and was unresponsive.
In order to assist with the flow of traffic during the evening rush hour, the northbound lanes of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, between the AL Thompsons roundabout and Camana Bay, will be temporarily reopened between 4:00PM and 6:30PM today. The southbound lanes will remain closed.
Shortly before 2:00AM on Saturday morning, 7 March, officers responded to a report of a serious collision on Shedden Road in the vicinity of Vibert Bodden Drive.
As of Monday, 9 March, the West Bay Police Station will be operating temporarily out of the Regatta Office Park near Governor’s Square.
As a result of traffic congestion and other safety concerns raised by members of the public, police will be closing Anton Bodden Drive between 5:30AM and 7:30AM, Mondays to Fridays starting tomorrow morning Thursday 5 March.
Shortly after 10:20AM on Wednesday 4 March, officers responded to a report of a two vehicle collision on Shedden Road, in the vicinity of Printer Way, involving a Public Bus and a Hyundai i10.
Just after 4AM on Tuesday, 25 February, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to Sea View Road in East End, where it was reported that a white Ford Ranger pickup truck and an injured man had been observed in the bushes in the High Rock area.
Early on the morning of Wednesday, 26 February, officers responded to a report of an assault at an address on Sea View Road, East End.
Shortly before 1:00AM on Sunday, 1 March, officers on patrol in East End came upon a vehicle that appeared to be parked in a suspicious manner at an address on Sea View Road.
