Just after 7:20PM on Sunday 18 December, police were dispatched to a report of shots being fired at the Marquee Plaza, located on Lawrence Boulevard
Since Friday, 16 December, police have responded to a series of violent incidents that have been reported across Grand Cayman. Of the reports attended, three resulted in persons being seriously injured.
Today we learned that there have been 32 armed robberies, whether with a firearm or bladed weapon, reported to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) since August.
The RCIPS responded to two reports of armed robberies over the past 24 hours. One incident of Robbery took place in the Savannah area of Bodden Town and the other took place on Eastern Avenue in George Town.
