14 Migrants land in Cayman Brac
The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) confirms that at approximately 4:15pm on Friday, 22 April 2022, a marine vessel with six males and three females for a total of nine migrants arrived in Cayman Brac. In the early hours of the morning on Saturday, 23rd April, another marine vessel with five male migrants arrived again.
All migrants are being temporarily held in quarantine in accordance with COVID-19 protocols and will transported to Grand Cayman once all reception formalities have been completed.
