My name is a Latecia Bush, I was born on October 27th, 2001 at the Georgetown Hospital. I have lived in Cayman my whole life and know little or anywhere else. At the age of 18 months I was placed in the foster care system where I met many other victims of child abuse and developed a familiarity and passion for the subject, hence my platform. I was glad to be given the opportunity to advocate for my platform a contestant. My journey was a challenging but very rewarding one of self-growth and realization and I am happy to have shared it with so many strong, intelligent and passionate people. I have learned many skills through training my favorite being public speaking. I will be using this skill a lot as I present at different schools and events my story and the importance of my platform. I hope to stay involved in the community as well by working not only with the Leo’s club, but also the YMCA. Once again, I am very grateful for this wonderful experience and hope to make all my supporters proud throughout my reign.
