The Chamber Training Centre: Leading the Way in Staff Training
For decades, the Chamber Training Centre has been a cornerstone of professional development in the Cayman Islands. This year, the CTC is introducing several new offerings to meet the evolving needs of today’s workplace while complementing its already robust curriculum.
New Course Offerings for 2025
1. QuickBooks (Virtual)
This four-hour virtual course is perfect for those familiar with QuickBooks who want to enhance their efficiency. Learn to streamline processes, save time, and sharpen your skills to meet the challenges of an increasingly dynamic work environment.
2. Better Business 1, 2, 3
This comprehensive three-part series covers essential workplace skills:
o Part 1: The Grammar Game – An interactive workshop on English grammar and clear, confident business communication.
o Part 2: Customer Relations – Learn to build strong customer relationships through interactive discussions and role-play.
o Part 3: Best Office Practice – Master organization, time management, and effective workplace collaboration to create a productive and happy office environment.
3. Intellectual Property
In this two-hour session, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of protecting their creative rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Learn about local laws and global safeguards to protect your intellectual property.
4. Creating a Positive Work Culture
Part of the Essentials of Leadership Series, this course provides leaders with tools to build a high-performing yet inclusive and psychologically safe workplace. Learn how to foster a culture of engagement, define core values, and implement strategies that enhance productivity and morale.
5. Coaching for Leaders
Also part of the Essentials of Leadership Series, this course helps leaders develop skills to mentor and guide their teams. Learn to ask powerful questions, provide constructive feedback, and unlock your team’s full potential.
6. A New Kind of Diversity
From the John Maxwell Leadership Series, this course explores generational diversity. With five generations working together for the first time, learn to unlock the unique strengths of each group to build stronger, more innovative teams.
