Leadership Cayman 2025 Partners with the National Trust to Launch “Heritage Hunt” Scavenger Event

The Leadership Cayman Class of 2025 proudly announces its signature class project: Heritage Hunt, an island-wide scavenger hunt taking place on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Developed in partnership with the National Trust for the Cayman Islands, this interactive event is designed as a sensitization and public education initiative – aimed at deepening public appreciation for Cayman’s cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural environment.

Heritage Hunt invites families, friends, individuals, and corporate teams to embark on an engaging journey across Grand Cayman. Participants will visit a minimum of five National Trust sites, solving puzzles and collecting clues that reveal the stories and significance behind each location.

“The Heritage Hunt is more than just a fun event – it’s a meaningful opportunity to connect our community with the sites, stories, and symbols that shape who we are,” said Alanna Warwick-Smith, Chair of the Marketing Sub-Committee.

The scavenger hunt will culminate in a celebration at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, which has generously partnered as the venue sponsor. Leadership Cayman extends its sincere thanks to the Park for its collaborative role in showcasing the importance of conservation and highlighting Cayman’s beautifully preserved natural and built environments. The event finale will feature entertainment, local food and drink, and a grand challenge for finalists, complete with awards and recognition.

Their commitment to community engagement and cultural preservation reflects the very spirit of this initiative. In addition to ZEDRA and Campbells, the project welcomes sponsorship and volunteer involvement from other local businesses, service clubs, and community members who are eager to contribute to this meaningful cause.

“The support from the Chamber of Commerce and our community partners has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life,” said Pearl Moroka, Project Co-Lead and Senior Manager at Moore Cayman. “We’re excited to deliver an unforgettable experience that both educates and celebrates Cayman’s heritage.”
