Police Helicopter Assists with Search and Rescues at Sea

On Sunday, 4 April, the RCIPS and other emergency services were dispatched to two search and rescue incidents at sea. Just before 3:00PM, the Air Operations Unit responded to a report of a kayak, occupied by two men, that had drifted out at sea and capsized.

One Man Arrested for Firearm Related Offence

Just after 12PM today 10 June, the RCIPS Firearm Response Unit, had cause to stop a vehicle that was seen travelling along Sound Way in George Town. The vehicle attempted to evade being stopped and as a result, a less-lethal tactic with use of special munitions was deployed to disable the vehicle.
