Following an open recruitment process, the Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the appointment of Deputy Police Commissioner Kurt Walton as Police Commissioner-Designate, for the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS).
Police are investigating a number of incidents in recent weeks, where vehicle windows have been smashed and items stolen. Commonly stolen items include tools, electronics and money.
Shortly before 9:50PM on Wednesday, 7 June, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a liquor store on Bodden Town Road, west of Cliff Hill Lane.
